Well I got off work and headed to Pep-Boys to get some material. I bought 6 qt.'s of oil a filter and some Wax. I started thinking, Maybe I should get rid of the Bosch Platinum 2's that I heard everyone complain about. So i ask the guy if they sell NGK's. They did but they were all out plus i didnt know what kind to get.
So I went home and started to do some research and decided on the NGK TR55 plugs. I called Napa AutoParts and they had 8 in stock for $18 for all 8.
Well went home and started everything, and I must say, I can tell the difference right away. They recommend .060 gap but i read on LS1Tech that they should e set around .055 so Thats what I did. I put 91 octane (was using 87 before) in but i dont think that had all that much to do with it. I mean you can feel that torque real nice now.
Lets see how she does at the track. Tomorrow starts the gut, Then off to 76 gas station for some 100 octane and at night for some ice so I can place them on the intake manifold to cool it down between heats. Then All i have to do is Clean the K&N filter (Been 1.5 years since I cleaned it) and I should be set for what I hope will be a Great day at the track Saterday!

Low octane can cause your car to knock. The computer will pull timing and greatly reduce your power.
