  • any problems with painted headers?

Hey guys i was wondering if any of you had bought painted headers i would like ceramic coated but was liking the price of the painted ones a little better. just chime in if you have painted and what kinda of condition that are in after being on the car for a while.

the only reason im looking at headers is i have my heads off and want to run over the valve cover plug wires because the stock routing is horrible. im not sure if headers will gain much power of not. thanks guys.

I'm sure there's a reason why the painted ones are cheaper.

Ceramic coated ones will keep it cooler.

Pinted headers will rust fairly quickly even if the paint doesn't burn off. (which it usually does) Ceramic coated is the only way to go.
