my 12 bolt should be here this week, im wondering what is the best way to break in the gears? thanks

don't lay into for 500 miles
drive 30 minutes let cool for 10, (go have a burger at mcd's) repeat
nice steady speed, varying slightly
stuff like that.
don't over do it..
aren't strange broken in at the shop?

Heck, I did a burnout with James in the car after backing out of his shop. He even told me that if they are setup right, no break in needed. I had over 50K miles on those gears when I sold the car. Never a hint of noise out of them and many 1.7x short times. Not too shabby for a daily driver 6spdOriginally posted by wolfman
