SO have any of you guys replaced the horns on your car? one of mine won't work, and the other isn't really that loud so I am going to replace them...any hints. I tried to do it eariler this week but the things are really hard to get to, and I wanted to know if I should
1 go through under the bumper where the fog lights are
2 go from the top and remove all kinds of crap to get down to them
3 go through the grille somehow

i'm new to these cars and i just don't want to screw something up.

    thanks!

I removed one horn and the HVAC vacuum bottle for weight reduction. Was quite a while ago, but I think I pulled the plastic fender liner out to access them.

i [edited] around with it this morning, got two new horns, turned out there was two "high" horns in there so that is why it wasn't very loud.

Perhaps a link to the rules and helpful hints might be in order.

Not church. You speak as if that's a bad thing?

You were too quick getting to the salvage yard- I was going to tell you that the big old Caddy's and Old's/Buick's used 4 horns, two pairs of two, to make that chord that sounds so good- I put them on my last car, haven't done it to this one- yet! Another nice idea is to wire in air horns, available at most parts places- I did that with a 2-way selector switch so I could be stock, or really loud- I mounted the air horns behind the grille- in front of the radiator-
