Need Some help with my 1997 Formula!

Hi Guys!

I have a 1997 Formula.

The black pieces that go in the front bumper cover, in place of fog lamps since my car doesn't have fog lamps.

How do they come out? So I can run some small wires around the sides of the black pieces or maybe drill a very small hole in the black pieces just to run a wire through it for the LED Strips I want to put some small LED strips in each nose. They will light up red.

Don't you think that this would be Cool!

They have plastic studs that go through the mounting holes in the bumper and then they use self threading nuts on the backside. If you pull all the center bottom mounting pins out, you can pull the center of the bumper down you can see in there. It's tight, but you can take the nuts off and remove the plastic covers. I removed mine to mount small fog lights on my car.


As for the LED strip lights, not my choice. but to each his own.

For what you want to do, you don't have to remove the black covers.. Just drill them and reach up and work around the back side.

It looks mean of the night time. My Car is White and I put red neon kit under the bottom and LED strips in the nose pieces where some of the formulas have fog lamps.
