I recently replaced my purge valve because dealer said it was failing.I also replace the 2 hoses connecting it because they were cracked. Engine light came on today p1441, failed canister purge valve or ftp sensor. I was Just wondering if one of you with an Lt1 could check and see If I somehow got the 2 hoses mixed up. There is one that is kind of z shaped hooked up to another sensor about 3 inches away that I hooked up to top of purge valve. The second that hooks up to a skinner like goes to throttle body I have hooked up to bottom bottom connection of purge valve. If you could see if this matches yours I would appreciate it.

Sounds like what happens when you swap the hoses. Shoebox has a photo:

Top hose goes to the throttle body. Bottom hose goes toward the canister line. On your OBD-II car, there is an additional vacuum switch between the solenoid and the line from the canister that sets the codes.
He also has a "blow up" of the connections, showing the vacuum switch:

There aren't many LT1 questions you can't find answered on Shoebox's site.
