  • Non-F body, but close... 4L60E problem

Replaced the fried trans in wifes 'burban with another used one. All done in a couple of hours (easier to do than in the Z). Fluid properly filled, all dressed and ready to go.......... No Reverse!

Had to push it out of garage, but goes great forwards...... best ever.

Not a cable position error, everythings in the right place: Park, neutral and forwards. No klunck dropping into reverse, but there is going forward.

Any ideas for NOT dropping the trans and maybe tweaking something else?

    Planetary gear stripped completely?

I don't know much about auto transmissions, but maybe the planetary is missing or something is wrong for the reverse physical gear.
