  • Question on wheels...

Will Cobra R rims fit on a camaro?

    They are 245/45 & 275/40.

I think they'd look pretty good, but not sure if the offset is right for an f-body.

If the bolt pattern is correct, they should?

Not 100% but if they DO have the same bolt pattern,

Get wheel spacers to clear up the offset issue.

Most Mustang/Cobra wheels have a 5x4.5" bolt circle (actually, the early ones were 4X4.25" ), compared to the 5x4.75" bolt circle required by 3rd and 4th Gen F-Bodys. They will not interchange without adapters. What year are the Cobra wheels? They may have changed bolt circle on the latest models.

245/45 and 275/40 are not "rim" (I'm sure you meant to say "wheel") sizes, they are (incomplete) tire sizes. To determine if a wheel will fit, in addition to the bolt circle, you have to know the width and offset (or backspace). Generally the Mustang/Cobra wheels have LESS backspace than a 4th Gen wheel, and will stick outside the fender. That can not be cured with a spacer.

Final question - why in God's name would you want to put Mustnag wheels on an F-Body? If you do, PLEASE don't post a picture.
