  • header install

    ok im looking to get some headers. im going for long tubes as i have slp shorties now. what in all is needed to do the switch? Can the long tubes just hook up to my catback now? thanks tom

    Custom or pre-bent y-pipe. Then you need to decide weather your going to run cats. If not then you need Sims or tune them out.

    Your catback bolts up to the Y-pipe not to the headers.

      First of all congratulations for that beautiful 97 TA.
      Secondly and with all due respect, I wouldn't change the SLP shorties that perform like mid ones.
      Finally, do you know the color code from your Collector Edition TA (CETA mod)rear bump paint (gloss or satin dark grey, gunmetal or black)?

        sorry for the late reply. thanks for the compl;iment too. actually im not sure of the paint code. sorry . i can tell you that its black.

          I had that painted on my car. I asked for a Black/Satin and the guy knew right away. It makes the car look so much more agressive, Different!

          I love it. You can get an idea of how it looks right here. Me and my twin working on my car!!!

            Thanks Eddie... very nice blue paint.....I wonder how the black/satin ceta mod will looks like with my artic white TA.....maybe satin dark grey?
