I have been wanting to do something to my car to make it stand out a bit, And due to my co-worker and his weekend job of decals and doing vinyl work on cars, He hooked me up with a piece and I got to pressing.

Not to bad for my first time! Took me about 2-3 hours. Its what they call Mat Black. (Poor quality Iphone PIctures)

That looks pretty good for a decal (and the picture quality from that phone is better than a lot of pics I see people take, LOL!).

Looks good! Is that vinyl? If so did you have to sand paint down?

I think what your asking is if I had to sand it down before applying the vinyl, And no I didnt. All I did was Clay the area to make sure it was clean. PLus My paint is usually Smooth as silk anyways.

And that answers your other question, Yes Its Mat black Vinyl.

You need a Rubber Sqeegie, but a hard one. Then you need Sun, a heat gun and a lot of patience.

To be honest with you, With Mat Black you wont be able to. If its shiny/Glossy black Maybe. Its going to take a lot of heat from the heat gun. When You stretch Mat black it becomes glossy and that would looks funk. If we had Camaro's then it would be do-able.
