  • Need Help Replacing Bulbs in the instrument Cluster!

    Hi Guys!

I have a 97 formula with 29k miles and I noticed part of my instrument cluster where the speedometer is located is darker than the other side so I have a bulb blown.

How hard is it to replace the bulbs in the instrument cluster? How many are there?

Would you happen to have any pictures of how to do it?

    Thanks Lee!

Not too hard, much easier if you drop the steering column. the main reason is that the front bezel is a tight fit to remove if the column is still in place. You don't have to remove it, just drop it down. then the bezel pulls straight out with no interference. I've done it both ways and leaving the column in place makes things tight. once the bezel is off the front of the dash, the cluster unbolts, the harness connection in the back unclips and it comes right out for easy bulb access.
