  • Exhaust manifold gasket replace

Driving down over the bridge in Cape Coral about 2am noone on the bridge, decide to open it up - As soon as i do i hear POP! from my exhaust then SES light comes on and i hear a verry loud rassping sound coming from the front driver side exhaust. I heard it intermidently before getting louder and louder over the months however this time when i opened it up the exhaust gasket must of blew... I popped the hood and noticed right at the front edge of the head where the gasket mates to the head there is a big piece around the headers that looked ripped off/ blown - obviously the problem. This leads me to my question - Is it possible to just pull all the header bolts and just slightly move the header to the side and slide a new gasket in there or do i have to drop the whole exhaust to replace this gasket? (Driver side)
