    Ken...need your tire knowledge

    I'm looking at replacing my 96 silver WS6 rims, and found an Ebay store selling really nice looking, chrome Corvette Z06 rims.

    Anyway, they offer a tire/wheel package. They use a tire I've never heard of...Nexen N3000.

    I looked them up and they "seem" like pretty decent tires for very little money.

    You ever come across these?


    I DO NOT drive in the rain or the snow, so I'm looking at them from strictly a dry traction position.

    For $829 + $149 shipping (wheels and tires combined) it's looking like a great deal.

    I have'nt heard from him in years! Last I knew he had a Pontiac Solstice or something. Not sure if he still has it.

              My old girlfriend bought her tires and rims from that guy. She has the same tires and said the tires are fine. She has had them about 2 years now. They are on a Mustang and she does not drive like us. So that is all I can about them.

                  Sorry...nothing yet. Most likely will be one of the two Z06 rims.


                  I'm tied up working on the Enclave right now. Once that's completed, I'll get back on the T/A. I had hoped to have the T/A painted and finished by Memorial Day...have been promising my little guy we'd enter it into the parade for a few years now. Unfortunately, it's either not enough time or not enough money.
