  • Chrome Peeling

I have a set of 17" ZR1s, now 2 of the 4 are in good condition, one has a small dent (some drunk idiot almost side swiped me and I moved out of the way but hit the curb ) and is slowly leaking air (like I have to refill it every month or so.

Now the last tire I was told, was peeling the chrome from the inside, the guy at the tire shop told me it might have been that Fix a flat crap that I put in once in my tire. Apparently thats bad for chrome tires. So I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to fix that, or if I should just try to find someone who would sell me just the single wheel?

You could see if someplace would replate the wheel, but you might be better off keeping yours as a spare (or make a coffee table out of it) and find another in better shape.
