I bought what you're looking for, but it's not 1:18. I think it's more 1:32, but I have to go back and look.

It was a 93 Promo model. All plastic, but it looks awesome. They do exist. I got mine 2 years ago...I don't remember where I bought it from though. Check out ebay, there are some other places too.

So far all I've been able to find in 1/18th scale is:

      93-97 TransAm T-top
      98-02 TransAm Convertible

      93-97 Camaro Convertible
      98-02 Camaro T-top

It seems like it's just the reverse of what you want. Strange how the T/A and Camaro have opposite configurations.

Here are some good sites to start with....

There are no "stock" 93-97 cars that I can see here though. There is a black 02 SS and the 35th special ed.

Oh...the plastic '93 I have is more like 1:25 scale. It's a little smaller than the 1:22 '69 Franklin mint Camaro I have.

Here ya go....This is close to what I have...Mine is red with black top though.

Search ebay for Camaro promo model

i think i am going to buy an ertl 91-97 camaro convert, and a 18-02 hard top, graft the front clip from one to the other, and paint it my Z's factory color. ill let you know what happens, if its easy ill publish instructions, or just do a few extra's and sell em
