  • Corvette wheels- Fred?

I want to trade these wheels for mine. My question is, what are the sizes on these wheels. they are OEM corvette wheels. 17's front and 18's rear.

Whats the width of both. Im assuming 9.5" front and 10.5" rear. Can you help me out. This guy mounted them no problem on his Bird.

And Whats the Widest tire I can fit on the rears?

The front Im just going to put my old Nittos I have on my ZR1's (275/40r17)
Im curious if I can mount a 315 on the rear 18"?

Those appear to be the 2000 C5 5-spokes. If they are OEM (factory) wheels, they would be 17 x 8.5 58mm offset front and 18 x 9.5 65mm offset rear.

They will bolt on a 4th Gen F-Body, but they are going to sit a bit deep in the wheel wells because of the large offsets. The backs may start getting a bit too close to the inner fender liners with a really wide tire.

The Corvette used 245 tires on the front, and 275's on the back. You should not put a 275/40-17 on an 8.5" wide wheel, and there is no way you should put a 315/30-18 on a 9.5" wide wheel. You need at least an 18 x 10.5" wheel. You would run a 245/45-17 up front and a 285/35-18 in the back.
