        No love for f-body..

I do love my 87 j-body though (style, music system, digital dash)

Also like the 92 W-body due to ride, comfort, space..

f-body ranks too, but only because of
        the power.

My dad bought a brand new 87 Z-28 (305 4bbl) with IROC rims, stickers and fog lights when I was 15. He tought me how to drive in that car, and I was obsessed with it.. Then my first real car was a 86 Camaro when I was 17. Man, did I have fun in that thing. It was an instant bond between boy and machine. It got the girls.. like 6 of them that summer, my friends and I went camping with it, drove it to Florida. It was awsome.

"Let the good times roll" My pulse jumps every time I sit in my Z.

My dad had a 67 RS/SS 396 Camaro, it had 2600 street miles on it in 1979 when he sold it, it was also the 1st big block Camaro in the Akron area. It was obviously used as a drag car all its life, but still had full interior. All black and the coolest car I have ever seen. My 1st F-body was an 84 VIN G HO car when I was sixteen, great car until it was hit by an old lady while it was parked. Between my dad and a couple uncles there has been MANY F-bodies in our family. currently my dad has a 69 Z and a 68 RS conv. and I have my 1993 Z

I love my Z I think because of the intimidation factor
It is definately one of the most powerful vehicles in its class
and for the actual cost it does circles around alot of reputable car names. I like the Camaro in particular because to me it is somewhat elegant looking yet raw under the hood
Firebird is just all around mean ( in a good way)

My dad was a big car guy, but he had an apreciation for everything. He always talked about his 68 1/2 Datsun 2000. He loved that thing. I started to get into cars and I bought my first car mag. May 99 Muscle Car Review. Centre fold out 69 Phase III Baldwin Motion Camaro with a ZL1. I was HOOKED in a major way. Still have that mag. On an impressionable young mind the styling, the huge power, the awesome blue colour, just the whole statement was an instant love affair. So when it came time to get a car I knew I wanted a 69. But here they are either junk, junk and alot of $$ or just plain alot of $$$. So I settled on my 97 SS.

I think that there has been someone in my family that has owned an f-body all off my life, my parents had about five between them and my brother is on his thirdand his girlfriend just got one as her first car. I have always loved them and finally got one of my own this last year.

When I was looking for my first new car out of college I wanted something that could perform at least as well as my Turbo Sundance. Looked at Probe (blech!), ZX2 (not bad), Mustang (little pricey and can't afford V8, slow), Camaro V6. Well, when I went for my first test drive in a red 97 it fit like a glove. Plenty of power, handling, seating position. Everything fell into place. It was just natural. I ended up with a '98 Bright Green 3800. Loved it till I traded for my Z28 3 years ago.

Of course my Mom also had a '67 RS and my Dad had had a '68 Firebird, so maybe it was just in the genes!

well my love for f-bodys started because of my dad. when I was growing up my dad had an all stock 81 trans am with the 6.6. He also had a 69 camaro what was now where near stock at the time it had a 454 in it, but now since he has gotten into bigger racing he has a 632 rat motor with a 871 blower. and a few other goodies. so when i turned 16 my dad bought me a 91 z-28 (350 not the 305 model) acouple of months later he got me my first project car a 68 rs/ss camaro that had 26,000 miles on it and this is in 97. while i was in high school i was also taking auto body classes so i needed something to work on. and that was it. since then i have owned two 88 irocs, 80 camoro z-28, 90 trans am, and a 91 gt mustang (but only for 2 months did not like it but got a great deal on it and sold it for more than i paid for it.) and now I have my 99 WS6 Trans Am.

                        99 T/A WS-6

88 IROC-Z, ZZ430 CRATE MOTOR, Flowmaster exhaust, MOSER 12-bolt with gears, and a few other mods.

The movie "Smokey and The Bandit" and the TV show "The Rockford Files" started it. A few years after that I bought a 79 T/A that was my first f-body. Soon afterward I picked up a 67 RS/SS 396 4 speed which was my first taste of real performance.

I only got interest in cars (Sports cars really) in the last year in High school. I graduated in 1984 the same year the 'new' then style Corvette came out. It was quite a car when it first came out. I loved the 3rd gens when they came out too. They really looked nice.
