Composite rotors?

I need to replace a rotor in the rear and I'm seeing that there are composite rotors available. Has anyone tried these yet? I heard they are a few pounds lighter and are good - but not as durable as the cast ones. My other rotor is fine at .781 (new is .787 and min is ~.725 to .733) so if the composite rotor is a waste of money, then I'll just get one Autozone OEM replacement. But if I can gain a couple RWHP, mileage and decent wear, then maybe it's worth it?
