    Would the ls1 fit under the hood of a 93-97 camaro?

      i have a 99 ls1 and a 97 baby camaro, baby camaro is in great shape , bodywork is very good, the ls1 had frame damage and has been repaired but i dont like the ideea it had frame damage and i think i ll do the swap...everything out of the ls1 into the v6 and viceversa. and the v6 is hardtop too and black

      I heard the ls1 sits taller under the hood and might not fit under the 93-97 hood, and was worried about that . I am going to swap pretty much everything including dash and seats and all, have some experience now after i transplanted the lt1 and gearbox out the formula into the t/a .

        I've heard conflicting opinions on the LS1 fitting under the hood. I thought they raised the hoods on the 98's too clear the engine.
