  • ABS INOP Light!

OK, I was driving down the road and stopped for gas, When I got back in and started it the ABS INOP light stayed on. I noticed that if I slam on the brakes the front left will lock up but no others. Anyone got any ideas on what it might be????? I checked the fuses and all good.

    Thanks,
    Richard Harvey Jr.

Either the third brake lamp, or the multi-switch inside the steering column. If your third brake light is working properly, then try tilting the steering wheel up and down, just to move the wires in there just a bit. Or, it could just be that your ABS is out

Most likely the wheel that locked up has a bad sensor in the hub. Unfortunately you can't replace the sensor, it is integrated into the hub. Try checking the harness connecter at that wheel.
