Where may an airbag wiring diagram be found for 4th gen Firebirds?

Chiltons only shows a single wire coming out of the steering wheel center when the airbag is removed.

What part of the airbag system are you looking for? The airbag itself has one yellow wire from the coil on the steering wheel. The control module for it is underneath the center console. You can't miss them, they are bright yellow.

Trying to figure why the "AIRBAG" light stays lit.

You would need a scantool that can read "B" codes. It will tell you what is causing it from frontal sensors, airbags, or the control module for the system. Unless something is unplugged it might be hard to find without this tool.
