I think that would be a scary place to mount that considering the road conditions in NJ.... Good idea though.

no problems with fuel heating up although you are not the first to ask that question
as far as road conditions being a concern, we are in utah and cuurently there is about 3 inches of snow on the ground, nobody with a kit has had any problem with water or debrey
thank you for your questions and concerns please ask more if you want i will be happy to answer any question you have
            again thank you

hp numbers for lt1 and ls1 are on the internet site
most gains can be expected at 40-60 % increases in hp and torque

I think there would be a lot of lag in a system that has to compress a column of air all the way from the back of the car to the intake of the engine. I think you woudl lose a lot of races for it to spool up.

                        blown 95

you would think that but it is not the case at all
infact the spool up time is just as fast
the reason being is that we trim our turbos to fit our system, so for exampl for a lt1 we use a t4 turbo with a 60-1 compressor, on a standard turbo system, however with a lt1 application that we want an extremly fast spul up we would put a smaller compressor house on the turbo
                        thanks for your question

It's a trade off..... to get a quicker spool you would lose on the ultimate flow. Because the boost is severly limited due to the high compression and crappy factory pistons anyway, that's not a real big deal. I think that a well built automatic, matched converter and a bigger compressor with intercooler would be my choice (with lower compression and stronger pistons). To me, 4-5 psi isn't really worth the effort and expense. Big things start happening at 1 bar. I think the idea has merit, especially keeping the heat out of the under hood area. I just think that you have to step up and for a few bux more, really do it all the way.

Why worry about any lag, if any, with a V8? If anything that would help with launching the car.

Programming for the most part can take away any lag, if its done right.

You have a good point Rob. I suppose if you have a decent amount of power out of the hole and the responsiveness of a stock high compression engine anyway, you could just sit back & wait for the rush. Besides, the guy says there's not that much lag anyway. Maybe someone here will buy one & give us a full report. I'm just more used to crank driven blowers & when I get in a turbo car, especially one with a single big turbo, it drives me crazy of it to go. Cool once it happens though - seems like warp drive - like exponential accelleration, whereas my car is much more linear.
