  • functional 93/97 t/a and firebird heat extractors?

anyone done that mod? I m in the process of finishing a spare set I have here, not sure how the hood is if theres any holes to direct air to the heat extractors though

I just hate that they are non functional , and got dirt in the drain holes and water pools on there now.

Looks like there is a drain hole there and I guess it would be ok to open the plastic grilles thing up as long as water is directed to the same area where the original drain hole is . Dont think its worth cutting the hood to make the openings bigger though , and the extractors dont seem to be in the right place either .

Heat extractors would look pretty cool, but I think putting the same amount of effort into a cowl hood would have a better payoff, for form AND function.
