I had Slot Car Racing's solid LCA's, and they were way too loud. Now I have Spohn single adjustable's with poly ends, and they are nice and quiet.

Spohn adjustable tubular, poly ends. Probably going to switch to spherical rod ends over the winter, but noise/harshness is not an issue in my application. I only need to tolerate the noise for a 1/4-mile at a time .

I think you will find that the tubular designs are much lighter than the box sections, and more than strong enough for anything that you can throw at them. My friend's 3,900# 30th SS ran a 9.04@155mph with the Spohn tubulars.

I went through all the choices before settling on the BMR tubular. I chose poly on the differential end and hard rubber on the chassis end. Firmer than rubber/rubber but quieter than all poly. IMHO, tough to beat their products especially when you factor in the price.
