LT-4 heads?......... on an LS-1?...... that ought to be neat. how aout the LS-6 package and a nice intake and exhaust setup. that would make it rip

Well I know a lot of people here run nitrous and I think that is fine for the track but I had a 125 hp kit on my 85 Mustang and I could run a 20 pound bottle dry in a week on the street. (I know make your comments but I'm making a point here) Now at $2.50 a pound it cost $50 to fill it. That's $2600 in a year. Add that to the cost of the nitrous kit and the total is about $3000 which is about the same cost as a centrifugal supercharger like a Vortex. After a year, the supercharger is free to use compared to nitrous. My point is for the strip, get the nitrous. For the street, get the blower.

If you install it yourself, that leave you $1000 leftover. A lower set of gears is about the best bang for the buck mod but a cat back will probably raise the grin factor more.

But here is the best advice for ya. If you have $4000 lying around, go by some Home Depot stock.

Don't forget suspension mods so the car handles the power better.
