I have a 95 firebird with the 3.4l v6. The car has served me very well over the past several years. However, after almost 150,000 miles, it is in need of a new steering box. The stock steering box seems to be worn out, and it is loose in the middle.
Will the power steering box from a third generation f-body, fit a fourth generation f-body?
    Thanks in advance.

The 3rd gen cars have reciprocating ball steering, a totaly different setup than the 4th gen cars like yours. 4th gen cars are rack and pinion, there is no steering box.

Try the adjustment procedure mentioned above, and pray it works. Replacing the rack and pinion can be expensive.
