  • How to disconnect the alarm system?

I find that the alarm system on my '98 TA is more a nuisance and PITA than it is worth. If I have the remote in my pocket and I stoop to pick up something, the alarm will go off if something presses against the alarm button. I understand that it is supposed to work that way, but it works that way when I don't want it to work that way.

Besides, no one pays attention to alarm systems.

Is there some way to disconnect the system without destroying it? I already have the motion sensor set to minimum.

    Your advice would be appreciated.
