  • On selling my cars >>>

i want these pups gone by the end of Feb 2004. so the price now has become very negotiable. if you know of anyone..anywhere..that might want to have one of these..please send em my way. they are both in practicaly new condition....especially the CompTA..which is also the rarest slp model ever made. our hawk is the last hawk built with an LT1 motor..and the last on that body style.

I would consider the Hawk, but have no garage to keep it in. Alas, I'd feel guilty after all the pampering that car has received.

Hey Ken,I dont visit this forum as much as I used to (I was a member here when you bought those cars) so I was shocked to see you are selling your beautiful cars. Man, whats up?
Dont mean to be nosy, just curious about what I may have missed.

Thanks Ken, I know the feeling. I'm going to retire in 3 years and will probably have to sell my muscle cars to be able to afford it. Sounds like you found a good cause to support.
                Good luck to you.

You may possibly be confusing "cage" and roll bar. NHRA requires a 5-point "roll bar" on coupes running quicker than 12.00 in the 1/4-mile. IHRA requires it under 11.50

For convertibles, the roll bar is required under 14.00

NHRA requires a "full cage".... 10-12-points on cars running quicker than 10.00

I have the roll bar... I don't want to go through the next step, which, along with NHRA certification of the cage, requires a competition drivers licence, full fire suit (as opposed to only jacket), neck collar and window net.
