  • Tire Question

hey everybody, I have a quick stupid question. Please excuse the question but I was wondering, I got a pair of 2001 10 spoke 16x8 camaro rims with 235/55-16 tires. I was wondering if I could put them on the front and the rear tires being 16x8 with 245/50-16 nitto drag radials would that be okay? The reason being is I have 17x9 SS rims and I wanna try the drag radials on and just drive around with them to put some miles on them before I go to the track since they are brand new and also I wanna get the feel of them. So my plan was to put the 16in 10 spoke camaro rims with 235/55-16 on the front and the 16in rims with 245/50-16 nitto drags in the rear. So I just wanted to know if that was safe to drive around in. I am sorry for the stupid question and also sorry for it being long. Thanks for your help.

Ultimate handling may be a little screwy, so don't try to hit the corners too hard. They will be the same height so it will work.
