I want to change out at least the front seats in my 97 camaro. Does anyone know if the seats out of a C4 vette will fit? the power ones with the adjustable lumbar and bolsters. and if so, does anyone know a good place to get them?

Well, this is an indirect answer, but the Firebird has seats with adjustable lumbar and side bolster and it's a snap to switch out. If you're practiced, you can do the whole switchout in less than 40 min. Last time I did mine it took about 30 minutes. All you need aside from the seats is the wire harness.
If you still want corvette seats some other items to consider. Aside from the obvious positioning and mechanical connection....Is it safe? Will it be crash worthy? Can you still use your seatbelt ok? If the air bag deploys will it cause injury or do it's job right? Also don't forget to research how to hook it up the power.
Don't mean to sound negative, but I'd hate to see anyone hurt becuase they didn't look into these things....Joe K.

yup, this is why i'm askin. doin my research. thanks for the input though, i didn't know the firebird had those. The camaro just seems to have incredibly cheezy and unsupportive seats. Does anyone else find this or am i alone here?

Actaully, I swapped back to my cloth Camaro seats after using the Leather Trans Am seats for almost a year. They had adjustable lumbar and side bolster. All in all they had 9 different adjustments on them. Rotate the whole seat, piece at the bottom of seat below your thighs adjusts up and down, seat forward and back, seat back, power adustemnts mentioned. The headrest moves up and down, forward and back and tilts forward an back. Oddly enough, even with all those adjustments I still like the original seats!!!
Maybe it's just me, but the original seats fit me like a glove.
If you were in Jersey, I'd offer them to you at a bargain price...Joe K.

actually, my GTA seats are almost exactly like my TA's...really sweet and supportive and I feel almost superior to the Camaro's. All sorts of adjustments...the Corvette seats are nice, but I don't know about them being in a Camaro or even Firebird. IT doesn't fit the persona...like Vette rims on a F-body...nothing wrong with it...it just doesn't seem right to me.

You don't think vette rims fit a camaro's persona?

my bad streetfighter...when I mean rims I meant the new c5 with the thin spokes that they offer on the 00+. Of course the SS rims from the ZR is sweet...just wanted to clearify that.
