  • WS 6 Meaning

I was wondering what WS6 means?

It is an option code... I've seen it represent the performacne package on Pontiacs... other than that, if it has an historical meaning, I do not know.
Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.

    Current Ride: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited - spec.B #312 of 500

WS6 is the option code from the factory for the high performance handling suspension. Later years it also included the ram air induction.

Just like Z28 or any other RPO code. It has taken on a meaning of its own. But it was just the next available option code.

WS6 option code has been around since at least the mid 70's or so.
