2002 LS1's are stronger than the 2000 LS1's... but to give you an idea, I hit 13.3 @ 109 stock in my 6-speed
My trap speed indicates the enough power to touch the 12's -- if only I was a better driver

I know it's not a T/A but it's realy the came car i have a 2000 SS camro with LS1 M6. Off the show room floor went 12.99 @111 with 2.01 60'. AT e-town on a 60 degree day.

111-MPH on a 3,650# car requires 400 flywheel HP.
What do you expect from a guy that can pull 1.5-sec 60-fts stock, and installed an SLP line lock kit and it only "tuck 5 minutes".?
By the way, what's a "camro".... is that a Toyota?

Maybe on a downhill run, gutted car with no interior, hard top, no power anything, bogarts, 120 lb driver and a 40 mph tail wind.Originally posted by faster then u

Somebody has been smokin' something and it ain't tires.
Seriously, most WS6 times fall between 13.7s at 103 on the slow end for autos and 13.2s at 107 for sticks. There are a few dogs that are slower and a few freaks that are faster. The only one I've seen go faster than 109 stock was a ringer press car that nobody has been able to duplicate with a regular line car.

So far you haven't helped at all, just played the "I am faster routine". BTW, we're not all that slow.Originally posted by faster then u

Some of us are in the 11s, some are in the 10s, some are even in the 9s. That being said, you're done for the last time.

faster thEn you??
shouldn't that be "faster thAn you"?
the word then indicates a time.
the word than indicates a comparison.
Maybe his english is poor, maybe it is his second language. I only speak one language, speaking 2 gives him credit. What I don't like is the chip he has on his shoulder. It is a bit arrogant.

Buddy of mine has his, then new(600 mile), 02 WS6 at the track. Ran 12.9@109 bone stock. It was a 6spd car and took a few runs to get a sub 2.0 launch. On the same day, he swapped a lid and filter and ran 12.7@111.
Also have another buddy that eventually went 12.9 in his 98 1LE Camaro. But that was after 40K miles and countless trips to the track.
Those two are the fastest I personally know of. Most WS6's should run very low 13's with a 6spd. I hopped into a brand new 98 WS6 and ran 13.3 missing 4th gear. Probably would have been a 13.2 if I hadn't missed the gear.Rob

The LS1 Firehawk I ran up against at test and tune night ran a 13.5XX. I don't know how "stock" it was though. It sounded like he at least had an exhaust. I have a feeling the guy wasn't the best driver. All his RTs were around 1 sec. That's how I was able to beat him with my 14.037 ET cause I cut a .527 light while he was sleepin' at the light
. Fun , Fun.....Later

I have personally seen two of my friends run high 12's both in bone stock (off the showroom stock) 2002 SS's with the M6. They started the day off running inconsistent 13.30's but once they figured out their launch my friend Jared went 12.91 at 111.1mph. It is not hard for a bone stock LS1 F-body to see 109+ trap speeds. See it happen almost every weekend at San Antonio Raceway.
