I need info on a Jet Perf. Chip..Part # 19314-s (off road only!) I have an auto trans. Is this chip for a a-4 or standard ? Is it only work at W.O.T. or all rpms? What does it change? I could not locate JET or Jacobs Engineering Tech.on the web..Does anyone have any info on this chip or an address or phone # for JET? thanks in advance for any info you all can give me..

JET CHIP
The manual or A4 part i'm not sure of. Only verifying the part
number will tell you that. But the JET chip is programmed for
W.O.T settings. My best friend has one under the hood of
his '95 Z28/A4, and the results from it didn't impress either of
us. I'd go with a custom chip from F.A.S.T -
Had one in mine many many years ago, it was junk...I threw it away. The only thing it was good for was lowering the the coolant temps in conjunction with a 160 stat.
If you NEED tuning and can't afford dyno tuning, get a custom mail order chip, I suggest Alvin at www.pcmforless.com he has done my tunes for a couple of years now, until recently because I went to DFI. He's the best I've found and I've tried quite a few mail tuners including Ed Wright.
HPP does NOT work on 93 SD cars...so don't even waste your time looking it up.
