Ok i guess i need a little bit of an explanation to exactly how it works on our cars, i know on some trucks it only functions up to certain rpm ranges and then disengages . but how does it work on our cars ??

It works on our cars at all rpms. I was in a burnout contest with a 95 I used to have. I spun those tires bald at high rpm. both tires spun the whole time.
I had a set of new GSC's on order at the time, so I figured what the heck
Only problem was the ride home. I was afraid one of the was going to blow. I made it!
