  • will gauges for LT1's fit LS1?

I want to get a set of Euro style reverse glow white-face gauges for my car. I've seen someone on cardomain.com with a 98 just like me and he has the exact gauges i want but he isn't responding to any PM's.

I've found some online exactly like what I want but unfortunately they only seem to make them for the 93-96 model year. Would they fit in my 98 anyway? Especially since they say 93 to 96. Why 96? Aren't 96 and 97 exactly the same?

here's the link to take a look at them.

here's the link to the guy on cardomain who has them installed on a 98 (i dont know if he has the same brand/manufacturer)

not sure if it will...but didn't lt1 come with analog readers for the milage and trip. I know for a fact 98+ have digital readouts.

Close......... The change took place in mid 97. Early 97 cars have the analog trip meter, mid 97 and later have the digital.

ok ok got me there Joe

That would answer the question aobut the 96 cutoff in the description too. They just didn't want to get into it so skip '97 and go from '96 straight to '98

              dont think

i put flamed ones in my z . i think the LT1 are different arent the LS1 gauges stright up and down and the LT1 kind of on a angle when i orderd mine they asked if i had LT1 or LS1 so i think it matters
