I was stationed in Seoul, Korea from July 2000 to October 2002.
I really missed my T/A. I bought this little Hoopty vehicle from another soldier for about $500. It was a 1992 Daewoo Tico, with three cylinders. Not a powerful car but perfect for getting through Korean traffic. You would be sad if you brought your birds out there. Literally no room to run around in.
Anyway so I'm running late for work and I'm trying to blaze through traffic in my little Tico. This Korean Dude pulls up next to me on my right side in a black Hyundai Tiburon revving his engine looking at me. I gave him the bird and told him to come to the US so see real cars in action. They just don't know.
I had another friend who had two cars there. One was a Supped up Late model Mazda RX-7, totally bored out cylinders boosted to like 500HP. This guy was undefeated in Korea. He came up against everything they had, Supras, 300ZXs, Nissan Sykylines, and even F-Bodys. Not to mention there Tiburons. It may not have been an American car but it was definitely an American behind the wheel with American ingenuityTo this day I can't stand Tiburons. Anyway that's my spcheel.
