  • Strange ringing........

I have a 96 rs and whenever im above 25 mph, i hear a high ringing coming from the rear of my car. No change from coasting or accelerating. I have no idea what it could be. Is it something that even needs to be fixed?
    Thanks,
    Brian

does it change when you hit the brakes? it could be hte "squeakers" on the rear pads telling you that they are worn out.

You wouldn't happen to have a Santa Clause missing in your neighbour hood?

it seems to ring whether im on the brakes or not, it does not sound like the brakes, plus i just had them serviced.

Sounds like the pinion bearing is on it's way out the door.
