  • NFB: Some Celebrities are real......

buttheads. Some of you guys know that I am a musician and open for various acts, today was a real eye opener. I wasn't doing the gig tonight, but had to drive the girlfriend over to a concert where she had to film a short on Ann Murray. We get back stage and set up the camera and such and let me tell you, what an egotistical b*tch Ann was. She came out with enough layers of makeup and an attitude to boot. She declined to be fimed under the current lighting saying " Remember, this is me we're talking about". I got news for ya lady, no amount of lighting is going to make you look good. She was much more popular in the 70s, and with all the other big name performers I've been involved with, this chick sets the new standard for how to act poorly and treat others like crap. What a joke. Some celebrities are great to be around, they are human beings just like everyone else, some are on such an ego trip that really is rediculous.

You should have told her that she has enough wrinkles to hold a two day rain. That would have sent her over the edge.

She was a pop singer back in the 70's. Like other performers before & after her, she was adddicted to the adoration of the audience, and her vanity and need for a lavish lifestyle condemned her to the hell of travelling around the country working small venues & doing oldies favorites after her popularity waned. She'll probably wind up performing in Branson, MO (Vegas for people with white hair & false teeth).

Of course, this would never happen to Joe!!!

That's pretty much the best explaination one could come up with. One thing though, it won't happen to me. You see, one has to be popular first.
