  • I need info about LT4 motors

I am looking to buy an F Body with the LT4 in it and was wondering if anyone new if all of the Supersports and Firehawk had them in 97 or just some. Any info about the LT4 would be helpful also Thanks

There was a very limited number of LT4 F-bodys built by SLP in 1997. I think it was 100 30th SS's and 28 Firehawks.

      i know

How many LT4 Camaro SSs were built?

      110 total:
      · 3 development cars/prototypes
      · 100 U.S. production
      · 6 Canadian production
      · 1 accidentally wrecked by dealer

How many LT4 Firehawks were built?

      30 total:
      · 1 prototype
      · 29 U.S. production
In addition, Pontiac SVE (Specialty Vehicle Engineering) built two prototype WS.6 Trans Ams with LT4 engines.
