My smoked front turn signals came in today. It's been raining here for 2 days now & it's been in the upper 50's so I think I'm gonna pull her out on the driveway and give her a good 'ol wash and install them. I'll take some pics & let you guys know how they look!

Woo Hoo! Just got mine too!

I spent yesterday putting in my new xenon headlights and foglamps. I flicked my beams on a crowd of people last night and they all gave me the finger! I take that as a "Hey your headlights are really bright" salute!

I'll be installing the smoked turn signals this wknd probably.

Got my windows tinted last week, got some wheels on order, should be looking righteous pretty soon.!

The xenons were $59.

The light covers attach by little velcro dots.

The fog lamps were a major pita. Had to take the entire front end off to get to them. I went with ultra bright yellow fog lamps for rain/fog performance. I'm not sure whether I like them or not yet but the blue xenons are cool.

Those tail light covers look promising. I did a search all over the net and could only find them for camaro's

They snap on and some of the corners have some velcro to hold them. Haven't ordered any yet.

I really like them and they give the T/A some attitude. Here's a black one with them. I've been looking for some all over and just by accident stumbled across them on Ebay.

Has anyone ever been pulled for smoked light covers? I bought the turn signal covers before I thought about this. I don't like inviting police interventions.

i got almost $400.oo worth of fines for various smoked components on my camaro and 1 obstructed plate, all on the same ticket. i had my front plate on the air dam under the bumper, smoked headlight covers, smoked parking light covers, smoked tail light covers and smoked rear side markers, also had a smoked cover on the rear plate. the worst part is that this ticket was given to me at about 3:30 in the afternoon. i always took the head and tail light covers off at night. the best part is that the cop never showed up in court so i walked away.

Looking good DJ Taso. I think on the first pic you can still see some orange coming through.

Interessting to see how they look with the lights on.

Can you stick those covers just on with the velcro or do you have to remove the lights?

The orange came thru due to the flash from my camera. You can also see some orange when the sun directly hits it but not that much. The covers stick on your existing turn signals takes about 2 mins. you don't have to take anything off just make sure you clean the surface well before you apply them.











The Alero is what I drive now for the season. I start the T/A up every now and then in the morning so the battery wont die. Im seriously thinking about those tail light covers. I emailed the guys over at Autothing.com and this is what they replied,

Sounds good to me. About the cops giving tickets their not going to pull you over for smoked tail lights or smoked front turn signals. Smoked license plates are different, they will. I will tell you this, they will & have pulled me over for my tinted windows but I dont have a front plate and they never give me a ticket for that. In fact, out of all the times they've pulled me over they just gave me a warning about my tinted windows and never issued me a ticket. Actually, no, this one time a cop gave me a parking ticket instead for my tinted windows it was like a $25.00 mail in ticket. He was cool about it he didnt care. The only reason azkkn got so many tickets is cause thats revenue for the city, cops could care less about your tinted windows, smoked tail lights etc etc.
