recently i got a set of 3.73 gears put in about a month ago and now i notice there is a loud rubbing noise with the gears. It almost sounds like it has no fluid but i changed the fluid my self about a week ago. please fill me in on what this could be

well im no expert but i have been told that some brands do make a noise, that is noticeable and sounds like a rubbing noise, do you do it yourself or have it done, and what brand are they1994 firebird formula

Could be several things.... the backlash in the gears might be off, the pinion bearing might be going bad, when you changed the fliud you may have forgotten the posi addititive.
