I wish the Lion would have done more. I am of the belief that animals should only be killed for food or population control.

That BS, I cant even stand seeing animals in a circus. Let them live there natural lives the only thing I can understand is keeping endangered species captive and trying to breed them.

i hate it, thats a horrible movie. and you were right it does tick me off. first of all sport hunting is for people with small di#ks. second they killed an awesome animal. not only that but they mutilated it by shooting it so much. i think that guy got off easy. id like to see him face 6 lions with guns, and him alone in his house.

I will have to side with N20LT4Bird. You do not know what that animal was hunted for. I would fully agree that sport hunting is a very bad thing, but what if the animal was hunted for meat as well as the use of it's pelt? I have hunted for 7 years now and it does upset me to see this video; not because of the assuption that the animal was killed for sport but because the animal suffered. I love to hunt (I hunt for meat), but I hate to see an animal suffer. It is people like those in the video that give hunters a bad name. Please don't take this the wrong way, I merely disagree that it is okay to assume that the animal was hunted for sport.

                        you cant be serious????????

                        people eat Lions?????????

and they take thier girlfriends along....giggling in the background?
and they learned how to handle rifles watching some gangland movie on tv?? they gun safety was -12

that was "sport killing" man. ive seen it before.....and i used to hunt, but always ate what i killed. years ago......then i quite, for obvious reasons...... i grew up hunting with my dad, who's hunted all over the world.. including Africa.

no....those people are heathens. plain and simple.

Here in Colorado people hunt mountain lion all the time. A good friend of mine went this last year and bagged one. He even gave me some of the meat that he processed; I found it to taste much like bear. So yes, I do believe it is possible for someone to hunt African lion for meat.

I wasnt trying to make a "side". All I was doing is bringing up the possibility that it may have been a legit hunt - meaning they were using the animal as food. Afterall, thats much of why the animals are here. I hate poor treatment of animals and if thats what their sole purpose was ( and I can see wolfaman's point) then, yes, those people are wrong. I hate to say it, but the cow and chicken (especially) that we eat everyday was most likely mistreated much worse than that. Its horrible, but unfortunately thats what happens when the love of money enters the equation.

At best - they were horrible hunters though.
