  • LT1 head bolts

Can the stock haed bolts on a '94 LT1 be re-used? I've heard some people say that they are made to stretch when they are installed and therefore can not be used twice.

    Thanks,

    Andy

Nope.... gotta use new ones. Last time I checked, about $13.00 per head.

Definitely invest in new ones. If you plan on boosting, N2O'ing or if you bumped your CR up considerably... Id definitely suggest ARPs.

You don't want to overlook these head bolts- common oversight.
