Yes, it should work, but not properly. Theres an extra 20HP gain with the proper computer programing. Look into fastchips.com or PCMforless.com for computer programing, its not as expensive as you might think, and it highly beneficial.

Ok thanks i was just wondering if it would cause the computer to act crazy. I will have to drive for about 3 months before i can get the computer reprogrammed.

let Ed Wright (fast chips) re do it for ya.

we compared my comp against my dealers ws6..both same year cars with identical mods except i had ed's programing..he used the stupid hpertech power programer with the addtional hot cam program..... i blew his away. Ed fine tunes your pcm using all your mods..not just the addition of the hot cam.

but "not cheap'..is missleading....granted he did mine for 250.00 back in 98...he's up to 300.00 or so now...... but its worth it.

Well, I guess if you want to save a couple bucks or so, you can go to PCMFORLESS.com. They havent been around as long as Fastchips, but I hear they do a hell of a job, and for less money too.

List the LT4 parts your getting and we'll go from there. There are a lot of considerations to be made when changing over to the LT4 setup when you have a non-vented Opti.
