I am a new member to this board but have been reading since I bought my car last march. I have found the things I am thinking of doing which are in a list below. My question is for my cam install, and heads. I havent done anything but replace the tranny mount, rotors and window motor. I would be using directions from www.shbox.com for the install. Could i do it or should i pay. I would be doing headers at the same time. I might have access to my schools lift but not positive.
Port stock lt1 heads
1.6 roller rockers
2.00/1.56 valves
Some other stuff to do with that from Lloyd Elliot - 1100
Fuel pressure up to 58psi on stock 24lb injectors
DMH cut-out -200
3.73 gears
3200?? stall converter
Pace Setter Headers – on ebay
lt’s-419 with y-pipe uncoated
Shortys -250 with y-pipe uncoated
B&M Super Cooler – 50
Air Foil – 30

Cam to be determined 224/230, 230/236, 305, hot cam - 3-400
Loopy, midrange
