  • NFB: Detroit Auto Show

Pictures forthcoming later on tonight. We are about ready to leave to trek up there to see what passes for new cars this year... No F-Car, so this isn't a celebration. Still a car nut though, regardless if GM is a little light in the stable.

The 04 North American International Auto Show was a great time. Among some of the rides displayed were the C6 Vette, the new Ford GT, and the GTO. Seems that GM had a couple surprises to show, the new vette is incredible. Very nice. It was sad to not see an F-Car there, but I still have hope that they will get some help for their insanity and bring back our cars. Until then here's some pics to tide everybody over.

The 04 Nomad concept is pretty cool. As is the production Solstice. A few people have noticed more than a passing similarity between the Corvette suspension and the kappa (solstice, curve, nomad) suspension.
