  • man, dealers really can make me angry

hey guys...this is the update from my other threads about my Dead TA

Well, I got a few quotes to get my baby towed...15 miles to Bill Heard, for only 55 bucks!!! Awesome deal when most wreckers do it for $45 and 2 bucks a mile...

Anywho, I was gonna get it towed to Southtown because it was right down the street and cheaper to tow...but when they quoted a "pre-diganostics" (spell-check) for 85 bucks, I called Bill Heard and they will do it for 65. I'd rather give Bill the business than Southtowne cause Southtowne had horrible customer service. Sonya and Bill Heard was curtious and extremely helpful...that and they won't charge no where near what Southtowne will. I think Bill Heard Chevy is like 3 times as big too...

Anywho, she's on the wrecker...and headed to get serviced...I hope everything will be okay.

That is an awful site to see. I remember when mine went off on a tow truck. But, hopefully the doctor can make it all better and you'll be back behind the wheel in no time. I hope that dealership is better than Jim Ellis. At first I was happy with them but when I got under the car, I noticed a bunch of screw ups. The most irritating was the fan shroud not put back in right. OPTI vacuum lines not hooked back either time. I put them back after OPTI #2. Hose not hooked up from air pump to intake pipe. That leaked a lot of unfiltered air in. Glad that MAF screen is still in there but I didn't see any debris in it. Now the OPTI to timing cover gasket leaks. Hard to find a good mechanic these days. All the more reason to do it yourself.
