  • Axle Shaft Going In

Well, I got my axle shaft in today and have it in with a new bearing and seal. I'm kind of stuck right now because I stripped the head out on the diff. pinion gear shaft bolt while taking it out. I could put it back in, but don't want to risk completely stripping it out, so I have to wait untill tomorrow and go to the dealer (dealer only part I'm sure). Thanks for the help guys. Other than the head being stripped out, I didn't have any problems (yet) I'll post a follow up when it is all done.

    Thanks again,
    Aaron

I went to the dealer this morning and about 30 minutes later it was all done. It drives as smooth as it did before the encounter with the curb. Now I'm gonna get an alignment, just in case, and I'll be on the road tomorrow to go back to Texas! New Orleans is a good place to visit, but I would never live here. I like my college town where the women are 2-1, and all beautiful. Thanks for the help guys and I'll be back on the forum as soon as I get home.
