  • Was there a 1997 SLP owners manual supplement?

    Hi guys,

I was just browsing the web, and for the first time I found a website selling what they call an OEM owners manual supplement for the 1997 Camaro SS from SLP. The book had the white with orange stripes anniversary edition on the front cover.

I wondered if there is anyone out there who has a 97 Camaro SS like I do, who might know if this is legit.

I have a 97 Camaro SS anniversary edition (white and orange stripes). When I bought the car the seller said it had all documentation, but I do not have this book. All I have is a one page flyer with an anniversary SS and a red SS on it, and specifications and options listed on the back. I do not have a booklet though.

    Anyone know about this?

    Thanks.

I dont have an Anniv SS but I have a 97 SS and I ordered the owners manual from SLP because I am 3rd owner and nothing got handed down to me. It is the manual that SLP gave along with the SS. It shows the upgrades that SLP does, what comes factory from GM, warranty issues from SLP or GM and other little things. It is about 20 pages and has Anniv SS on front and red SS on back. Anything else let me know.

It was in a package that SLP sent with the cars. Mine had the SS owners supplement, the SS key fobs. You can order a copy of the supplement right from the SLP web site ...it's p/n 58009

        Thanks guys,

It looks like the original owner may have kept a souvenier as I never got this book. I'll go ahead and order one, thanks for the part number also!

If only I could order some warm weather so I could pop the T-tops and drive her, I'd really be in business.

By the way, my signature is different because I'm at my work computer now. I forgot what I logged in as when I was at the home computer last night, so I had to log in again. Doh!
