  • Need Fan temps recommended

Finally getting my reprogramming done. I have a 160 stat installed. I used to have the fans come on at 185 or so and I think it was 195 for highspeed. Problem with that is that in the summer whenever I stop the fans are coming on. I'm going to have this car for at least a few more years and I don't want them wearing out prematurely. I still want a little spark advance advantage though.

I was thinking about going with the following...
    Fan 1 on/off at: 194°F/185°F
    Fan 2 on/off at: 204°F/195°F

    Any comments/recommendations??

I don't know how accurate that temp guage is, but I'm usually running at about 175-178...at least, that's what it reads. [EDIT] On a hot day that is.
